Yep Will, I mean Dunsmuir. Living in a town with a trout river running thru it is rough, very rough. I do not recommend it for the easily distracted,
wait, I think I hear a hatch coming off, gotta run...

When you say "in town", do you mean Dunsmuir? If I have to ask, does that mean I shouldn't know? What's it like to live in a "city" where the "city park" has a world-class trout river flowing through it? Every June, I start getting the notion that the only good cities are "cities". Dunsmuir might just be one of my favorite "cities".

I'll be there in two weeks. Meanwhile, thanks for the reports, Steven! Best, Will

Good Morning Steve,
Very good artical and report. The drakes are going on up here also, but the Big Bug is what the fish want. The Salmon Fly hatch is in full swing and I will be stuck in center seat for the next two days. Sun. and Mon. Will post a report if you like. Len Baker and his lady Lynn will be in the other two seats. Looking forward to other reports. By the way I have Tue. and Wed. off also so if you and TC can break loose let me know.

Hello!
Thanks for the report. I will be getting to the Northern Cal area in mid June (along with everyone else, I fear - I'll have to make it mid-week). I wonder if I'll be hitting the black ant bite...I'll also be bringing a few light/pink mayflies, and some Stone patterns. I look forward to your next report, if you've got another in ya.
